The House Oversight Committee has released a batch of approximately 70 photos from the estate of late convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third release from a cache of over 95,000 photos the panel has obtained from Epstein's property. It includes pictures of passages from the novel Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and obscured photos of women's international passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19th of December due date for the DOJ to disclose every records related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest images bring up more questions about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Images Made Public

Some of the images released on this week depict Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky inside a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen next to a woman whose face is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a workstation across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the newest wealthy, prominent figures to be seen in Epstein's estate photos disclosed by the oversight panel - earlier released pictures also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the images is not indication of any illegal activity, and several of the photographed individuals have asserted they were in no way participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement released with the photo publication, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not supply background information or timeframes for the photographs.

"Images were chosen to provide the public with clarity into a typical cross-section of the photos acquired from the property, and to offer perspectives into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally disturbing activities," the announcement reads.

The publication also features multiple photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita written in ink across various areas of a woman's body, like her upper body, foot, pelvis, and rear. Lolita tells the tale of a young girl who was exploited by a older literature professor.

One passage from the novel written across a woman's chest says, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of photos of women's identification and official papers from states globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the IDs, like names and DOBs, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee stated in a press release that the passports are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

Another image depicts Epstein seated at a desk closely surrounded by three individuals whose identities have been obscured - a first has her hand on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is leaning to examine a adjacent laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the third attach a piece of jewelry.

An additional photo released is a screenshot of digital messages from an unidentified sender who says they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per female".

Photo Publication Comes Ahead of DOJ Due Date

The panel has many thousands of images in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its press release on recently clarified.

The Congressional committee first subpoenaed the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of human trafficking, in August.

The photos and records the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the panel are distinct from what is largely referred to "the Epstein files". Those are documents under the justice department's possession connected to its own investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which President Trump enacted in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its files. The scope of the contents contained in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's probable that a large amount of the information will be heavily censored, comparable to House Oversight Committee documents
