Passionate supporters of the actress are urging that a person who leaped a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the individual from Australia shoving aside photographers and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade surrounded by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was observed being removed of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on the next day. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the pop singer's Sydney show in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Grande's Safety

Many fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also faulted guards at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while others requested digital services to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Event Details

In clips shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a crowd of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional debut in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on 21 November, is the second of a dual version of the well-known stage production Wicked, which centers on the unexpected bond between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the twentieth-century children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a light pink sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and earned 10 award recognitions, earning several for best costume and artistic direction.
